Welcome! I help young bassists unlock their full potential, achieve audition success, and build confidence and skills that open doors – musically, academically, and beyond.
If you’re a parent who dreams of seeing your child confidently perform, excel in auditions, and gain the skills and mindset that create exciting opportunities – without exhausting commutes or confusion – you’re in the right place.

Who I Help
I work with parents and their dedicated young double bassists who are seeking personalized, structured, and inspiring instruction. Whether your child is aiming for elite youth orchestras, summer festivals, conservatories, or simply building a competitive edge for college admissions, I provide the targeted support to help them succeed.
If your child:
● Feels frustrated by slow progress or unclear teaching methods
● Has struggled with long, tiring commutes that cut into valuable practice time
● Needs efficient, customized help to fix technique, tone, or musical expression
● Is preparing for competitive youth orchestra, festival, or conservatory auditions
…I can help your child flourish – both musically and personally.
Lesson Options & Availability
I offer online, in-person (Greater Boston), and hybrid lessons. Students have the flexibility to study with me from anywhere in the world – I currently teach a student in Bangkok with no issue coordinating across time zones. We simply find a time that works for both of us.
My current availability includes:
● Weekdays: 10:30am–1:00pm & 6:30pm–10:00pm (ET)
● Weekends: Fully flexible
● I’m also open to expanding availability as more students enroll, with the goal of teaching full-time and creating custom schedules that work best for your family.
A 30-minute trial lesson is available, and free consultation calls can be booked directly through here on the site. While lesson packages are non-refundable for completed lessons, remaining sessions may be refunded at my discretion if you’re not satisfied.

My Story
I started bass at 16, inspired by an open rehearsal of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. I had already excelled on saxophone, but something about that rehearsal moved me to switch paths. Within a year, I was accepted into Connecticut All-States. Within two years, I earned a scholarship to the Hartt School and was waitlisted at New England Conservatory.
My journey wasn’t always easy, but it showed me what’s possible with the right guidance, consistent work, and inspired teaching. That’s the experience I now aim to give every student I work with.
What Parents Say
Parents often share that:
● Their child improves quickly
● They appreciate the organization, professionalism, and clear communication
● My lesson notes keep everyone on track and motivated
● I fix foundational issues while staying encouraging and solutions-oriented
● Their child genuinely enjoys learning and feels proud of their progress
